Organise a fundraiser
HK$ 2,000 teaches someone how to swim. For life.
Whether collaborating with a group of friends or working towards a personal goal, it's easy to raise money for a cause you believe in. All efforts, big and small, have an impact. So go on, start your own fundraiser and give the gift of swimming!
It just takes a few steps:
-
Choose your challenge or event: open water, pool or triathlon race; a swim gala at your school or club; a dinner, auction, quiz night or bake sale at your office; or donations for an auspicious birthday.
-
Set a fundraising target: Be ambitious! You'll be surprised by how many people will support you and your cause.
-
Create a fundraising page on Give Asia
- Create or login to your account
- Follow the steps to complete your page. Make your page URL short and simple so it is easy for donors to get to.
-
Spread the word: Reach out to your network and let them know the great thing you're up to, and don't be shy about reminders!
More tips for success:
- Share why this cause is meaningful to you in your campaign story and messages.
- Don't just rely on social media. Individual emails or text messages are most effective.
