  • Splash’s learn-to swim adult programme is designed for absolute beginners, but those with some swim experience are also welcome.

  • It is primarily open to migrant domestic workers, but we also partner with NGOs that work with refugees.

  • The 12-week programme emphasises three key areas: balance and buoyancy; breath control; and calm and controlled movements.

  • You will need a swimsuit and a pair of goggles. Rashguards, swim shorts and burkinis are okay too as long as it is made from swimsuit material.

  • While the programme is free, the attendance requirements are strict and the first class is mandatory (no exceptions).

  • At the end of the programme, you will know how to be water safe with a basic introduction to freestyle and backstroke.

  • Added extras: community, laughs and a real sense of achievement!

  • Sometimes you just need a little bit more practice to master all those Beginner skills or maybe you’re ready to swim some laps. If this is the case, Splash offers special workshops for graduates of our Beginner programme.

  • Are you an employer or a group of employers who wish to help your domestic worker/s learn to swim and improve their physical and mental well-being? After all, they do so much to support our lifestyles; an opportunity for us to support theirs? If so, Splash can arrange paid weekday programmes at your apartment complex or private club.  Rates start at HK$ 2,000 per person for a 12 hour programme.  Minimum class size required is 8.  Please email [email protected] for more information.
